3. Bookings and Payments
- Booking Process: Customers must provide accurate details regarding the location, volume of goods, and services required at the time of booking.
- Payment Terms: A deposit may be required to confirm bookings. Full payment is expected upon completion of services unless agreed otherwise.
- Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move to qualify for a refund. Refunds may be subject to processing fees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for the following:
- Providing accurate information about the items to be moved.
- Ensuring access to the premises for loading and unloading.
- Declaring all items of high value or requiring special handling.
- Complying with local laws and regulations regarding transported goods.
5. Limitations of Liability
Movers and Packers strives to handle your belongings with utmost care. However, we are not liable for:
- Fragile items not packed by our team.
- Delays due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Loss or damage caused by natural disasters, accidents, or theft during transit.
6. Insurance Policy
While we take precautions to protect your belongings, we recommend opting for additional insurance coverage for high-value or sensitive items. Please inquire about available insurance options at the time of booking.
7. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous materials, including flammable or explosive substances.
- Perishable goods.
- Items prohibited by law, such as illegal drugs or contraband.
Movers and Packers reserves the right to refuse transportation of such items.
8. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to resolve the matter amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
